Nicholas R. Whitcraft

Nicholas R. Whitcraft as President & Chief Investment Officer, is responsible for the leadership and direction of the Company as well as ensuring the investment activities are being performed to your expectations. Mr. Whitcraft has over 47 years of professional experience in the areas of personal finance, investment research, portfolio management, hedge funds, mortgage brokerage and real estate.

His qualifications and experience include seven years as Vice President with Riverplace Capital Management, Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida; eleven years with Atlantic Portfolio Analytics & Management, Inc., a domestic and international hedge fund, in Orlando, Florida where he was a Managing Director and over two years as a Mortgage Specialist (NASD Series 7) with E.F. Hutton & Company in New York City. Mr. Whitcraft was also a Vice President of The Bank of New York's Wall Street Investment Sector where he served institutional clients for twelve years. Initially, he was a Real Estate Broker in Denver, Colorado.

Mr. Whitcraft has been a speaker for both the Florida Public Pension Trustees’ Association and the Florida State Division of Retirement where he has made presentations on economics, investments and asset allocation.

 

Charles M. Thompson, Jr.

Charles M. Thompson, Jr.  is Vice President and Director of Research for the company and has 28 years of investment research and portfolio management experience.  Mr. Thompson graduated from the University of Florida in 1984 and received his MBA from the University of North Florida in 1994.

His qualifications include three years at Sears*Thompson Investment Group in Jacksonville, Florida where the firm was a dually registered broker-dealer and investment advisor.  At Sears*Thompson, Mr. Thompson obtained both a NASD Series 7 and NASD Series 4 license.

Mr. Thompson also spent twelve years as Vice President of Riverplace Capital Management, Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida which was established in 1988 as the successor advisory firm of the Sear*Thompson Investment Group dating back to 1976. At Riverplace Capital Management, Inc. Mr. Thompson served in many capacities.  These included being the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and Director of Research where he was instrumental in the development of equity and asset class portfolio modeling and maintenance through his research of stocks, bonds, exchange traded funds and mutual funds.  In addition, he was a portfolio manager and responsible for proxy voting procedures and being liaison to institutional and consultant reporting agencies.
